Ingredients
White flour (maida) 1 cupSugar ½ cup
Ghee ½ cup
Egg 2
Coco powder 1 tbsp
Baking powder ½ tsp
Milk ¼ cup
Chocolate pieces for garnish
Chocolate sauce for garnish
Icing sugar for garnish
Method
- Mix ghee and sugar in a bowl.
- Add only egg yolk and mix.
- Blend remaining egg white and add into it and mix.
- Gradually add white flour and mix well.
- Then add baking powder and milk into it and mix.
- Divide mixture into 2 halves then in 1 half add mix coco powder.
- Pour this into the baking dish and the pour the 2nd half layer over it. Do not mix these layers.
- Put this baking dish in oven and bake for 1 hour at 180 degree C.
- When it baked well take it out in a serving platter and allow it to cool.
- Garnish with chocolate sauce, chocolate pieces. Sprinkle icing sugar on it.
- The cake is ready.
- Serve delicious coco cake with tea.
