Karahi Aloo Recipe

Karahi Aloo is most yummy recipe for potato lovers. It tastes very delicious. You must try this Recipe at home. I am sure that everybody will give you credit for its delicious taste. So must try this by following the procedure mentioned below.

Ingredients

Potato1 kg
Tomatoes 4-5
Salt 1 tbsp
Green chillies  5-6
Red chilli powder  ½ tsp
Turmeric  ½ tsp
Coriander powder  1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Lemon juice   2 tbsp
Coriander leaves  few crushed
Black seed (kalonji)  ½ tsp
Oil   ½ cup

Method 

  1. Firstly take potatoes peel them and cut small cube shaped pieces of it. 
  2. Now grind tomatoes and green chillies with ½ cup of water in a grinder. 
  3. Grind until it forms a smooth paste. 
  4. Then heat oil in frying pan and fry coriander powder until it turns dark brown. 
  5. Immediately add grinded tomato chilli paste into it. 
  6. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, kalonji into it and stir it for 5 min until an oily layer comes on the top. '
  7. Add potatoes in it and cover with lid and cook under low stream of fire for 20-25 min. 
  8. After required time remove the lid then add lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix. 
  9. Serve with salad.
