Ingredients
Boneless chicken ½ kgSalt 1½ tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Cornflour 1 tbsp
Beaten egg 1
White pepper ¼ tsp
Cauliflower few leaves chopped
Capsicum 1-2
Egg noodles 1 packet
Chili sauce 2 tbsp
Soya sauce 2 tbsp
Crushed garlic 1 tsp
Onion 1
Carrot 1
Crushed green onion 1 cup
Oil ¼ cup
Ketchup ¼ cup
Coriander leaves few crushed
Mint leaves as per need
Method
- Marinate boneless chicken with salt, white pepper, sugar, soya sauce, cornflour and beaten egg for half an hour.
- Heat oil in fry pan and put crushed garlic into it. Fry until its colour changes to golden brown.
- Now add onion and marinate chicken in it and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Then put all remaining ingredients in it and further cook for half an hour.
- Boil noodles and add into the cooked chicken.
- Mix well.
- Szechuan chowmein is ready.
- Dish out in a platter and garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
- Serve hot with chili sauce.
