Ingredients of Gingerbread Cookie Recipe

Self raising flour 1 cup
Baking soda ½ tsp
Butter 2-3 tbsp
Ground ginger 1 tsp
Golden syrup 1 tsp
Brown sugar ½ cup
Egg 1
Sugar for sprinkle



Gingerbread Cookie Recipe

Method

  1. Beat an egg and keep aside.
  2. In a bowl mix self raising flour, baking soda, butter, ground ginger, golden syrup and brown sugar.
  3. Now add beaten egg in the bowl and mix well until the mixture turns into dough.
  4. Now make small cookies of this mixture.
  5. Grease the baking tray with oil and put all cookies on it.
  6. Bake them for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 degree C.
  7. After the required time dish them out in a platter.
  8. Serve yummy gingerbread cookies with tea.
