Ingredients of Po Boy Recipe

Boneless chicken ½ kg
Bread crumbs ½ cup
Italian bread 1 loaf
Butter 2 tbsp
Egg 1
Salt ½ tsp
Black pepper ¼ tsp
Red chili pepper 1 tsp
Cornflour 3-4 tbsp
Tomatoes 2 cut into slices
Iceberg lettuce ½ cup shredded
Mayonnaise 1 tbsp

Tartar sauce

Green onions 2 tbsp
Parsley leaves 2-3
Sour dill pickle 1
Mayonnaise 2-3 tbsp
Salt ¼ tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
Mustard powder/paste 1 tsp

Po Boy Recipe

Method

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, black pepper, red chili pepper and cornflour.
  2. Now beat egg in a bowl and coat marinated chicken with egg and then with bread crumbs.
  3. Melt butter in fry pan and fry chicken until it cooks well.
  4. Now to make tartar sauce mix green onion, parsley, sour dill pickle, mayonnaise, salt, black pepper and mustard powder in a bowl. Tartar sauce is ready.
  5. Cut Italian bread vertically into half and apply mayonnaise then place cooked chicken, lettuce leaves, tomato slices and pour tartar sauce on it and cover with other half of bread.
  6. Po boy recipe is done.
